Organic cotton prefolds - XKKO

• XKKO brand organic cotton prefold diapers, Organic version made of unbleached cotton.
• These are flat, rectangular diapers with a reinforced central core made of the following layers 4 x 8 x 4 (4 layers at the edges and 8 in the middle).

• They are the most economical and sustainable type of diapers on the market, combining comfort and softness with the rapid absorption of cotton.
• Versatile, they can be used alone for very young babies or over another folded diaper fastened with a snappi. As they are not waterproof, they require a waterproof cover for this purpose. They can be paired with a PUL cover, a fleece cover, or for unbeatable and ultra-comfortable protection, a wool cover.
• Later, they can be used folded in 3 (trifold fold) as an absorbent insert inside a cover or as a super absorbent insert inside a pocket diaper.

• If you want a dry effect, we recommend associating a fleece liner or a wool liner directly on the baby's skin.
• The diapers are made of 100% organic cotton twill. This material becomes more absorbent after several washes, reaching its optimal absorption after 4-8 washes. The natural property of untreated cotton is shrinkage, the commonly reported shrinkage value for diapers is about 10%.

Infant size: 32x34cm - Orange stitching

Regular size: 35.5x40.5cm - Red stitching

Washing and drying instructions:

- Wash prefolds before first use. Washing at 40º or 60º is recommended.

- Do not use fabric softener or detergents with more than 5% soap.

- If necessary, to avoid changes in shape and size, it is recommended to gently pull the product back to its original shape and dimensions after each wash. The absorbency will increase with washing.

NOTE: GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified organic cotton is grown without chemical spraying, using natural laws, preserving natural biodiversity, crop rotation, and fertilization with compost keep the soil healthy and full of nutrients. Instead of using chemical preparations, weeds are removed by simple manual weeding and hoeing, mulching, more efficient irrigation, and growing various plant species together.

NOTE: The product may show variations in cutting, as the entire cutting and sewing process is done manually.
