The "Premium" reusable nappies from the Portuguese brand Mind the Bum feature a "slim" cut and soft, stretchy PUL, and are particularly absorbent yet low-bulk nappies.
The nappy includes a long insert with 4 layers of bamboo and cotton +1 layer of "stay-dry" fabric and comes with a booster composed of 4 layers of hemp and
cotton, thus totalling 12 layers of absorbency.
The nappy body is made of soft PUL and internally lined with athletic jersey fabric. Inside, it features a double gusset at the groin and PUL in the tummy area to prevent leaks, both from the legs and the waist.
Another detail is the elastic at the back for a good fit and a large inner pocket for reinforcement if necessary.
NOTE: The patterns of our Premium nappies are exclusive.

Washing routine:
- Wash nappies every 2-3 days.
- Do not fill the machine more than 3/4 full when the nappies are still dry. If the machine is too full, the nappies will not wash correctly.
- First, wash the nappies on a 30-40 minute cold cycle and spin. This will prepare the nappies for the main wash.
- Then, run a long cycle, at a temperature of 40-60ºC.
- The amount of detergent to use depends on several factors: how full the machine is, the dosage recommended by the detergent brand itself, and the hardness of the water in your region. Washed nappies should not smell of detergent. If they do, it means you used too much detergent, which can saturate the fibres of the inserts and lead to leaking problems, the nappies will not be properly washed and will start to smell bad.
- Do not use fabric softener or bleaches.
DRYING:
- Although they can occasionally be tumble-dried, the best way to dry nappies and inserts is air drying. This also removes any stains that remain after washing, as the sun has this action. Never dry directly on a radiator.
Recommendations:
*To extend the life of the nappy, it is advisable to wash regularly at 40ºC, occasionally at 60ºC, use centrifugation at 1000rpm and air dry.
