Pocket diaper - Mind the bum

• Mind the Bum reusable pocket nappies feature a basic design, but with some details that make them practical and easy to use, even for the most inexperienced caregivers.

• They adjust with a front snap panel for height and at the waist, making them one-size-fits-all, suitable from the first months up to approximately 16 kg.

• We have a PUL barrier in the tummy area to waterproof this section and prevent leaks.

• The internal double gussets help contain solids within the nappy, thus preventing leaks around the legs.

• The nappy has a wide opening at the back (pocket) for quick and easy insertion and removal of inserts. In addition, the front snap helps keep the inserts in place.

• The nappy is lined with athletic jersey fabric for a dry, cool, and comfortable feel.

Composition:

Outer nappy - 100% polyester PUL (polyurethane ultra laminated)

Inner nappy - athletic jersey

Washing routine:

• Wash nappies every 2-3 days.
• Do not fill the machine more than 3/4 full when the nappies are still dry. If the machine is too full, the nappies will not wash properly.
• First, wash the nappies on a 30-40 minute cold cycle and spin. This will prepare the nappies for the main wash.
• Then, do a long cycle at a temperature of 40-60ºC.
• The amount of detergent to use depends on a few factors: the amount of load in the machine, the dosage measured by the detergent brand itself, and the hardness of the water in your region. In areas with hard water, it is recommended to use an anti-limescale product in the washing machine.
• Washed nappies should not smell of detergent. If they do, it may mean that too much detergent has been used, or that it may saturate the fibres of the inserts and lead to leakage problems, the nappies are not washed properly and start to smell.
• Do not use fabric softener or bleach.

DRYING:
- Although they can occasionally go in the dryer, the best way to dry nappies and inserts is to air dry them. This also removes stains that remained after washing, as the sun has this action. Never dry directly on a radiator.

Recommendations:

 *To prolong the life of the nappy, wash regularly at 40ºC, occasionally at 60ºC, use a spin cycle at 1000rpm, and air dry.
