This will prepare the nappies for the main wash.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\n\u003cli data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThen, run a long cycle, at a temperature of 40-60ºC.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\n\u003cli data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe amount of detergent to use depends on several factors: how full the machine is, the dosage recommended by the detergent brand itself, and the hardness of the water in your region. Washed nappies should not smell of detergent. If they do, it means you used too much detergent, which can saturate the fibres of the inserts and lead to leaking problems, the nappies will not be properly washed and will start to smell bad.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\n\u003cli data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eDo not use fabric softener or bleaches.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\n\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDRYING:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e- Although they can occasionally be tumble-dried, the best way to dry nappies and inserts is air drying. This also removes any stains that remain after washing, as the sun has this action.
